A Guaranteed Solution to your RiR Login Problems:
If you're using Microsoft's Internet Explorer (IE) internet browser go to the 'Tools' menu item and select 'Internet Options'.- On the window that shows up click on the 'Privacy' folder tab.
- You will find a slider where you can adjust the security setting of your browser. This normally defaults to a 'Medium' security setting. Set this to 'Low'.
- Click OK when you're done and you're set.
Try again to login using the above interface and Enjoy!

If you are having problems logging in the RiR Forums please attempt the following procedures to resolve it: We recommend clearing your cookies and cache and then refreshing the page (you may need to go as far as closing down the whole browser first) and then try logging back in. The following link is the unsecured "Log Out" page for the RiR forums. Click on the link to force a logout, then close your browser window, and return here to login again:
http://www.radioinsectrecords.com/forum/force_logout.asp If you are still unable to login it could be that your cookies are not being cleared out by RiR. We recommend that you manually delete any cookie from your browser from 'www.radioinsectrecords.com' and 'radioinsectrecords.ehosting.ca'. In newer versions of Netscape and Mozilla, you can do this quite easily by opening up the 'Options' or the 'Preferences' menu item, choosing 'Privacy', and then 'Show Cookies'. They'll be listed there alphabetically, search for them and delete them accordingly.
If you're an Internet Explorer user, there's not an easy way to do this within the browser itself. Instead, we recommend that you download a cookie manager such as the one from Karen Ware: http://www.karenware.com/powertools/ptcookie.asp which allows you to view and delete cookies in much the same way that Netscape/Mozilla does.
In either case, once you have deleted the cookies, close down your browser (all browser windows), and come back here to login again.
We also found out that this problem is mostly experienced by users who have the Yahoo toolbar installed in their browsers. The Yahoo toolbar for some odd reason handles cookies very strictly such that its not allowing our cookie into your browser. The only way we found to solve this is to uninstall your Yahoo toolbars. Once uninstalled reboot your system and log back in.
If in the above box you see "Cookies NOT Enabled" after doing all of the above procedures please send the contents of this page by selecting and copying the whole block (Ctrl-C) and pasting it (Ctrl-V) to the body of our instant feedback utility then press SEND. We'll promptly resolve it ASAP. |
